Terms of Service#

Effective: 6 September 2026

By accessing or using the Yakka Works website (the "Site"), you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.

What Yakka Works provides#

Yakka Works provides TheoTown plugins and related content, Kustom presets for Android, tools, documentation and tutorials, downloadable resources, custom commissions, and other related digital content that may be added over time. The scope of Yakka Works may expand into other domains as the brand develops.

Free content#

Publicly available downloads are free to use under the applicable Yakka Works content license. Free public downloads must be shared using their original Yakka Works links.

Some free public TheoTown plugin files may be distributed in an encrypted .ttplugin format. Access to modification or source ZIP files is a paid benefit available through supported Yakka Works membership or payment channels such as Patreon or Saweria. Not every public download includes source or modification files.

Yakka Works may provide paid access through third-party services such as Patreon, Saweria, Linkvertise, and Google AdSense or other advertising-related services. Paid users can receive additional rights depending on the content or version they legitimately have access to.

A paid user retains commercial rights for the specific content or version they obtained access to. Ending a Patreon or Saweria subscription does not retroactively remove commercial rights already granted for content legitimately obtained during the paid period. Commercial rights apply only to the content or version covered by your legitimate access, and you must still comply with attribution and licensing requirements.

Content redistribution#

Yakka Works content may generally be redistributed, provided that:

  • Yakka Works is credited.
  • The original Yakka Works link is retained or provided.
  • The applicable license and attribution remain intact.
  • The content is not falsely represented as being created by the redistributor.

Paid commercial rights do not remove the attribution requirement. Modification and commercial-use rights are subject to the applicable Yakka Works license.

Commissions#

Yakka Works accepts custom commissions across supported domains. Contact us through email, social media messages, or other officially provided contact methods to discuss an order. We may refuse a commission if it falls outside our available technical scope, capabilities, or reasonable requirements.

Normal commissions are paid after completion. Larger projects may require an upfront deposit. Once a commission has been ordered, payments are generally non-refundable under our commission policy. If we cannot complete a non-deposit commission, the appropriate outcome will be handled according to the circumstances. If a project requiring a deposit is cancelled or otherwise stopped, the deposit is non-refundable under the standard policy.

Commissioned work is jointly associated with Yakka Works and the commissioner. Specific commission agreements may establish additional or different rights. We may grant additional commercial rights to specific individuals on a case-by-case basis, including fellow creators or developers; such exceptions do not automatically apply to other users.

NSFW commissions may be considered on a case-by-case basis, and certain content may still be refused. You must comply with the age restrictions and policies of any third-party platform used to communicate, order, or distribute content.

Third-party services#

Yakka Works relies on third-party services and platforms, including but not limited to TheoTown, Kustom, GitHub, Patreon, Saweria, Linkvertise, Google/Google AdSense, and various social media platforms. We do not own these platforms, and their own terms, licenses, privacy policies, availability, and restrictions continue to apply independently. Yakka Works is not responsible for outages, policy changes, account restrictions, service changes, or other issues caused by third-party platforms.

Content provided as is#

Yakka Works content, tools, documentation, plugins, presets, and other resources are provided on an as-is basis unless explicitly stated otherwise. We do not guarantee that every resource will work on every device, remain compatible with future software versions, remain available permanently, be completely free of bugs, or meet every user's specific requirements.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Yakka Works should not be held responsible for damage, data loss, incompatibility, or other issues resulting from use of its content.

Prohibited behaviour#

Users are expected to comply with the applicable license and attribution requirements. Scraping is allowed, including AI-assisted scraping, provided that it does not cause spam, excessive requests, abuse, disruption, or other unreasonable load against Yakka Works infrastructure. Other abusive behaviour may result in restrictions.

Users who violate these Terms may be added to a Yakka Works blacklist maintained by the site's backend. The blacklist may be used to prevent future access to certain services or functionality.

Changes#

Yakka Works may modify or remove content, add or discontinue services, change website functionality, and update these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or licensing rules as the website and services evolve.
